Meadowlake Pet Resort offers a controlled and monitored environment, in which approved dogs can interact and play throughout the day.  Dogs are separated into groups based on personality, activity level, and size.  The Jumping Jacks tend to be larger, higher energy dogs; while the Tail Waggers tend to be smaller, lower energy dogs.

One of the most important factors affecting your dog's socialization is the frequency of positive social interactions with other canines and humans.  Dogs are creatures of habit and by attending daycare on a regular basis, you are helping to create a happy, healthy, and most importantly, well-socialized canine. 

Daycare Evaluation

Because the safety and well-being of our Daycare guests are Meadowlake’s primary concern, each dog must complete the Evaluation and Approval process first. Learn more about the evaluation process.

Hours

Daycare is available from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Due to the strenuous play and stimulation, all dogs take mid-day breaks from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.  This break is a great time for your dog to enjoy a Meadowlake Munchie afternoon treat.  Pets may be dropped off and picked up any time during our normal business hours.

Reservations

Since our playgroups are limited in size, advanced reservations are required.  Guarantee a spot in your favorite play group with a standing reservation.  Also, individual daily reservations can be made in advance by contacting our facility during regular busines hours. Walk in's or same day reservations are not encouraged and may not be available.

We also offer three different daycare passes to make daycare affordable and convenient.  You may choose from a 10 day pass, 20 day pass, or a 30 day pass all at discounted rates!

Feeding

We do not offer feeding to Daycare guests but can offer your dog the Meadowlake Munchie afternoon treat during break time.  Owners who feed their pets before Daycare should feed their pet at least 1 hour before they are dropped off for daycare.

Flea & Tick Preventative

Since fleas and ticks are easily transmitted, and since Daycare pets at Meadowlake enjoy frolicking in our green play yards, Meadowlake requires owners to treat their pets regularly with a veterinarian-approved flea and tick preventative.

Dirty Dogs

One of the many benefits of Daycare at Meadowlake is outdoor romps. As a result, some pets will get dirty (especially on rainy days). Our Daycare staff will do its very best to clean up dirty pets before they are picked up. But, many owners choose to schedule an afternoon bath in our Groom Shop. It’s wonderful to pick up a clean, tired, happy pet at the end of its play day.

 Daycare While Lodging

For clients who need to leave their pooch in our care overnight, Daycare is still an option. Monday through Friday, you can choose for your pet to meet up with their friends for a half day or full day of Daycare. Daycare is in addition to basic Lodging cost and does require the evaluation as mentioned above. On the weekends when Daycare is not in session, choose one of our many activity packages to keep your pet active.
