Lodge & Learn

Lodge & Learn can be an excellent option for dedicated owners that do not have the time or knowledge for detailed training. Our Lodge & Learn packages use positive reinforcement methods and include a follow-up consultation. 

Ivy League Plan

This two week program focuses on loose leash walking, recall at a distance, sit, down, stay, off and leave it.  These typical problems are also addressed: jumping up, nipping issues, charging outdoors.  Ideal for dogs that need help with basic commands, house manners, and socialization.  The Ivy League course includes 10 days of training and 14 nights of lodging.   This option will allow for more behaviors to be taught with greater reliability.  Meadowlake does encourage you to purchase an activity for your pet on his or her day of rest so the dog stays active and involved.

Prep School Plan

This one week program focuses on loose leash walking, recall at a distance, sit, down, stay, off and leave-it.  These typical problems are also addressed: jumping up, nipping issues, charging outdoors.  Ideal for dogs that need help with basic commands, house manners, and socialization.  The Prep School course includes 5 days of training and 7 nights of lodging.  Meadowlake does encourage you to purchase an activity for your pet on his or her day of rest so the dog stays active and involved.

Daytrain Ivy League

10 Day Course includes daycare and training.  Ideal for dogs who need socialization with other dogs or people.  Also for dogs who are well socialized but need practice with distractions.  Basic obedience and house manners will be covered. (Daycare passes cannot be used toward the Daycare Prep Course)

Daytrain Prep School

5 Day Course includes daycare and training.  Ideal for dogs who need socialization with other dogs or people.  Also for dogs who are well socialized but need practice with distractions.  Basic obedience and house manners will be covered. (Daycare passes cannot be used toward the Daycare Prep Course)

Refresher Day

This refresher course is for the dog who has completed any training program and needs a one-day (or more) refresher course.  This is a great class for right before everyone arrives for the holidays.
