Friends For Life
At Friends For Life, every animal matters. Founded in 2002, Friends For Life introduced the no-kill shelter model to Houston – saving animals regardless of their breed, age or condition. A leading organization in the fight to save and care for Houston animals, Friends For Life was the first to organize a free animal food bank at their shelter. Through their continued efforts they have distributed more than 50 tons of food to animals in need.
You can find the food they distribute on their Pet Food Bank Amazon Wishlist, or they’ll happily take and redistribute any brand, type, or size of opened or unopened bags of cat or dog food brought to them.
