Daycare
Daycare is the perfect place for the social dog to meet new friends and explore our expansive play yards. Dogs must pass a free Daycare Evaluation before they can enroll in Daycare. Groups are chosen based on size and play style, so your dog will meet friendly faces in his or her comfort zone. Each session is conducted under the watchful supervision of our highly-trained staff to ensure the comfort and safety of each pup.
Private Play
Does your dog prefer people over other pups? Our Private Play sessions are perfect for the introverted dog. These one-on-one play sessions ensure your dog gets lots of personal attention customized with the games and level of exercise they enjoy most.
Pet Portraits
It can be hard to be away from your pet, even when you’re doing something enjoyable. However, when your pet is a guest at Meadowlake Pet Hotel, you can add our Pet Portrait service to your dog’s stay. This includes a high-quality photo of your pup each day you’re away, so you’ll never have to wonder what they’re up to.
Bedtime Tuck-Ins
If your dog is crazy about snuggling, then they’re in luck. When you book a nightly tuck-in service, our dog-loving staff will wish your pup sweet dreams with endless cuddles and kisses.
Splash Play
Our facilities feature a huge, pawprint-shaped splash pad with beach entry and spray fountains. It is the perfect destination for dogs to stay cool and lounge during warm Houston afternoons. Keep in mind that the splash pad is located at our 288 South location and is only available to pups who stay there.

Playtime
We all know how cats get the zoomies. Luckily, at Meadowlake Pet Resort, we have everything your cat needs to expend all that extra energy. Our 288 South location features a screened-in porch where cats enjoy the great outdoors in a safe, secure, and comfortable setting. If your cat is staying in our Galleria location, they’ll love panoramic views & interactive toys in our unique playroom.
Personal Play & Cuddles
Whether your cat prefers chasing a laser, exploring the playrooms, or relaxing in their caregiver’s lap, our attentive staff are happy to oblige. When you book Personal Play & Cuddles, you can rest easy knowing your cat is getting one-on-one care each day–and of course, plenty of kisses and pets are included in this service.
Pet Portraits
It can be hard to be away from your cat, even when you’re doing something enjoyable like vacationing on the beach or presenting at a prestigious business conference. It’s normal to wonder about the well-being of your cat when you’re apart, which is why we offer Pet Portraits at Meadowlake Pet Hotel. This add-on service includes a high-quality photo of your cat each day you’re away, so you’ll never have to wonder what they’re up to.
Dog Daycare
Feel confident that your dog is having the time of their life while you’re at work or away for the day when you bring them to Daycare at Meadowlake Pet Resort. FAQs
Where will my pet stay overnight?
When pets are not enjoying activities, they are comfortable in their private rooms. Sleeping without a group of dogs means more rest time for your pet and none of the stress of “cage-free” facilities. All rooms span from floor to ceiling, have privacy panels and feature beds with comfy cushions for your pet to curl up on. Each room is climate-controlled for your pet’s safety. Got a dog or cat who enjoys the great outdoors? Ask about outdoor patio rooms located at our 288 South location.
Do my pets need to be vaccinated to stay here?
Your pet’s safety is always our top priority. Therefore, Meadowlake works closely with local and national veterinarians to stay up-to-date on new health information, recommendations, and more. We require dogs to be up to date on their vaccinations for Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper), and Bordetella. While we do not require the CIV (canine flu) vaccine, we do highly recommend it. We require cats to be up to date on their vaccinations for Rabies and FVRCP. We also require our guests to be on a flea and tick treatment for the well-being of all our furry visitors. We always encourage all pet parents to discuss vaccinations with their preferred veterinarian to ensure your pet remains as safe, happy, and healthy as possible during their stay.
Do you have any age, breed, or other restrictions for pets who stay at the resort?
At Meadowlake Pet Resort, all pets are welcome regardless of breed, whether they are altered, and age (with the exception of pets under 4 months). If your pet has special needs, please call ahead so we can discuss accommodations with our staff.
Do I need to pack food & bedding?
All rooms include soft, comfortable bedding, which we clean daily on-site. While you are allowed to bring your own blanket, it is not necessary and can only be used if it does not have foam or stuffing. We do not allow large beds, as every item must be able to fit in our washing machine for sanitation.
We recommend that you bring your pet’s favorite food from home and request that you portion it out into individual bags per meal. However, if you are unable to bring food from home, we serve high-quality NutriSource dog & cat food that’s easy on even the most sensitive stomachs. Just be aware that there is a small $1 charge per meal if you opt for our in-house food.
If you decide to bring food from home, please be aware we cannot accept food containing bones. If your pet happens to have a raw diet or a diet consisting of more than one food item, for example adding canned food into kibble or items that need to be refrigerated, frozen, or warmed up, there will be a $1 feeding charge per meal. Likewise, if the food you bring from home is not separated into portions, there will be a $1 feeding charge per meal.
